Bill Blair may no longer be Toronto’s Police Chief, but there are many issues from his time in that position that demand attention. During his time as Chief, he was responsible for multiple systemic problems within the Toronto Police Service. Rather than demonstrate leadership or take serious measures to address these issues, Blair deferred to actions like calling his officers “idiots” or outright ignoring the problems. The list of issues Blair failed to address includes:
–Abuse of Charter Rights & Human Rights
–Lack of Accountability & Transparency
–Unsustainable & Bloated Budgets
–Refusal to Cooperate with Oversight Bodies
–Lying to & Misleading the Public
–Lying to the Police Services Board
–Failure of the Rob Ford Case & Abuse of Power
